War Is Peace is an audiovisual work inspired by Nineteen Eighty-Four, imperial collapse, and the aesthetics of political spectacle. Through typography, projection, noise composition, and industrial rhythm structures, it inhabits the mythology of empire from the inside, where propaganda hardens into environment and repetition becomes ritual that shapes society.
Rome becomes the United States. The children are no longer the future. They wander empty hallways beneath systems that collapsed before they arrived.
At its center is the myth of Romulus and Remus: two children abandoned to the wilderness, raised by wolves, until one kills the other and raises a wall against the “other.” War Is Peace traces the violence embedded in the foundations of nations, and the way fear, spectacle, and mediated language echo across every century that follows.
